As he launched himself and his co-owners, Arougheti received a loud ovation with a giant announcement.

“We’re shopping for everyone a beer! It is on us,” he stated.

Orioles followers responded with cheers and a “Let’s Go O’s” chant.

Arougheti is a part of a gaggle led by billionaire David Rubenstein and Corridor of Fame Oriole Cal Ripken, Jr., that purchased the group from the Angelos household for round $1.725 billion. MLB house owners accredited the sale earlier this week.

John Angelos took management of the group in 2020 along with his father, Peter Angelos, ill. Peter Angelos, who purchased the group in 1993 for $173 million, died Saturday on the age of 94.

The sale to Rubenstein’s group comes because the Orioles are on the rise.

Baltimore invested in a swath of younger prospects who determine to hit their stride in 2024. The Orioles gained 52 video games in 2021 earlier than successful 83 in 2022.
